Privacy Policy

We work with several vendors to fund this app through third-party advertising and data SDKs.

Opensignal Limited

Opensignal collects data on mobile network coverage and performance. Opensignal uses the crowdsourced data collected from users’ devices to publish reports and metrics on mobile network experience. You can see Opensignal’s reports here: https://www.opensignal.com/market-analysis

Opensignal is the independent global standard for measuring real-world mobile network experience. Opensignal believes that measuring how the network performs directly through users’ eyes is key to building better wireless networks.

To read more about the data collected by Opensignal and our privacy policy please follow the link https://opensignal.com/privacypolicy-for-crowdsourcedata
In addition to other information described in this policy, we may collect and share precise location information, through methods such as mobile “SDKs”. This location information may be used by itself, aggregated, or combined with mobile identifiers (such as IDFAs and Android IDs), and shared with third parties globally, for purposes related to advertising, attribution (e.g., measuring ad performance) analytics, and research. You can remove your consent to having your location data collected by changing the settings on your device. (Certain services may lose functionality as a result.)

Tutela Technologies Limited

Tutela Technologies Ltd. works with telecoms companies globally to help them understand and improve network speeds and network coverage for consumers like you. They help them build better networks in the areas that need it most.

Tutela may collect data relating to the wireless network performance your device experiences, in a pseudonymized manner, that may include the following types of personal information and/or personal data:

  1. Geolocation data. Precise location information (GPS and network-based) may be collected to develop geo-based analysis and plot network performance on a map to convey coverage.

  2. Daily Session Tag. A random number representing a measurement session, that is reset every 24 hours. A Daily Session Tag is assigned each day to each mobile application install contributing to Tutela so that they can assess the statistical reliability of network insights.

  3. Network Element IDs. Network names, cell tower identifiers, BSSID, and other access point information is collected so that Tutela may know what network operator or network equipment they’re testing for issues.

  4. State of Test Application. The state of this application during a network test (e.g. “in use”) may be collected for data validation purposes. Tutela never sees or records any content viewed by users.

Using this app and permitting Tutela to collect pseudonymous data may help improve the performance of your wireless network and your apps. This pseudonymous data may be shared with mobile network operators, network equipment manufacturers, and other third parties within the telecom ecosystem. They use it to understand, communicate, and optimize network performance.

Tutela never collects your sensitive personal information, name, phone number, a persistent device identifier, or e-mail, and takes technical and administrative measures to ensure data is not attributed to particular consumers. For further information about Tutela’s data practices please see the Tutela Privacy Charter. You have the right to opt-out of data sharing with Tutela. To do so, please utilize the opt-out measures provided in your mobile application or this privacy statement, or visit Do Not Sell My Info.

CellRebel

This app uses CellRebel SDK. CellRebel has developed the most advanced SDK to analyze mobile connectivity. CellRebel SDK gathers important network characteristics and reports it to our advanced analytics solution that analyzes and presents it in multiple dimensions such as geospatial as well as device views. With these capabilities, operators can easier understand how its customers actually are perceiving the services and where bottlenecks are. Operators can then improve the network to enhance the user experience in a much more granular and effective way. Application developers can with CellRebel’s SDK also understand how the intended service is affected by network performance and they adapt the service based the data they obtain.
